Here in New England

This is the view from my front window..........I know, hard to tell were the driveway ends and were the street starts, right? We've been getting a ridiculous amount of snow. Wish it would go up to the mountains but, seems it's vacationing at the coast this year. So what can you do but, make the most of it.First and foremost we make sure we have heat, batteries and candles.......well, we don't really need the candles but, they add a nice touch.Flashlights are a little harsh.Next I checked the fridge to see what I could make that wouldn't require my going out in this weather.
Yes, there is always a good supply of local eggs and mixed with a bit of slivered onions and chopped olives this will make a great lunch.
I think this will get us through the afternoon. Chips would be nice. Maybe I'll make some. Homemade chips are pretty awesome. Burgers in the freezer so guess what we are having for supper. Well can't chat now I'm off to make those chips and hoping for a break in this snowstorm............said the hobbit

Lunch looks pretty good to me!

We've had such a horrendous drought here in CA over the past few years; and when she decides to rain or snow, Mother Nature vacations in the wrong places here as well.

I'll send you some sunshine if you'll send our mountains some of your surplus snow. Deal?

I seriously don't know how you people do it. I am such not a snow person. You are welcome any time you want to come and grab some of our sun, there's plenty, and I'm willing to share!
