I was worried that my cats, and others, would be a bother to the chickens but they don't really care for them, maybe they are bit too big for the cats...
Growing up we had 100's of chickens and I can't remember the cats ever bothering them either. We had what was called barn cats. They came to the door for milk and bread treats but, never lived in the house.Today of course we have Bitty and we would never give her a snack like that!
